During the past week investigators from the Cleburne County Sheriffs Office have filed charges against several individuals with the Prosecuting Attorneys Office in Heber Springs. Jason Mehler, age 33 from Greers Feery, already in custody and charged with multiple Felonies has been charged with an additional count of Breaking and Entering and Theft of Property. The additional charges stem from an October theft at Shiloh Marina in Greers Ferry. Matthew Patterson, 19 of Heber Springs, and Austin Travis, 21 also of Heber Springs, have both been charged with Residential Burglary and Theft of Property stemming from a report taken by the Sheriffs Office on December 13th in Tumbling Shoals. Charges of Forgery and Theft of Property have been filed against Donavan Adams, age 31 from Heber Springs, after he was reported to have cashed a stolen payroll check from Saint Jeans Industries at Holland?s Exxon on December 9th. Matthew Cowles, 23, of Pangburn, was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Cleburne County Jail charged with two counts of Rape. The charges resulted from two separate incidents reported to the Sheriffs Office by Cowles estranged wife.
